BEATS BY @cutso @djsheabutter @the_cme @chatos1013 LIVE BAND (THE illiance) @theilliance @saxysoul84 A BIT ABOUT TONIGHT’S EVENT This event is in honor of the ongoing collaboration efforts between @sanjosejazz & @universalgrammar the importance of J Dilla’s influence on the emerging modern Jazz scene. @universalgrammar has two featured performances at this years San Jose Jazz Winter Fest including @taylormcferrin & Kris Bowers @bowersmusik. Observing & celebrating the music of J Dilla falls in line with the influential nature that J Dilla’s music has had over the modern jazz artists @universalgrammar has brought to the forefront at this years San Jose Winter Fest & the Jazz Beyond stage at Summer Fest for the past 5 years. On this night in the midst of Winter Fest 2015, we pause to enjoy, listen and dance to the sounds of the late great producer/composer J Dilla.
